Philando Castile’s mother, Valerie Castile
We have an update to the case of Philando Castile a young man who was wrongfully shot during an interaction with a police officer—a cringe-worthy scene that was recorded for all of us to see:

We remember Philando Castille clearly explaining to Officer Yanez that he had a registered weapon and still losing his life. Too often cases similar to Philando Castile’s go without punishment—but with the presence of visual evidence we expected a much harsher punishment.
(Sigh) We can’t help but be feel disappointed once again in our justice system.
