Nicknamed ‘Eva the Diva’ as a young girl growing up in southern California, Eva Marcille had no idea that her passion, intelligence and drive would lead her to an incredible career in media.

Eva got her first big break in 2003 when she was selected for the third cycle of America’s Next Top Model, deferring her degree from Clark Atlanta University in her junior year to participate. Eva went on to win the cycle – one of the highest rated seasons of the show – and was signed with Ford Models. From there she began to build an impressive resume as a model: she was featured in on the cover of Essence Magazine, Elle Magazine, has done work with DKNY, CoverGirl and Samsung, and has walked the runway for Marc Bouwer, Monarchy, and countless other designers.

After America’s Next Top Model, Eva made the transition into film and television. After landing a role on Taye Diggs’ Kevin Hill she was bitten by the acting bug. Eva has guest starred on several television shows including Smallville and Everyone Hates Chris and landed a recurring role on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. She also showed off her comedy chops on the first season of MTV’s Wildin’ Out. Eva made her film debut in 2007’s I Think I Love My Wife starring Chris Rock.

In 2008, Eva joined the cast of the long-running daytime drama The Young and The Restless as Tyra Hamilton. Her work on the show earned her back-to-back NAACP Image Award nominations for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama in 2009 and 2010.

From street-smart tough girl to fashion-savvy Hollywood star, Eva continues to grow as a multifaceted talent in modeling, hosting and acting. Eva also has the title of producer under her belt after producing and starring in Oxygen’s LA Girlfriend Confidential.

Eva is currently appearing in a recurring role on the popular BET comedy series, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and starred in The Fright Night Files.
