The Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners confirmed on Tuesday that a parole hearing for O.J. Simpson has been scheduled for July 20th.
In 2007 Simpson was found guilty of 12 charges, including armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping. This followed a confrontation in a Las Vegas hotel involving reported stolen sports memorabilia. Already facing the prospect of spending the rest of his life in the 69-year-old could be released if the parole board vote in his favor.

If granted parole, he will remain behind bars until October 1st at the earliest.
