Hitting the scene hard in mid 90’s, thanks to Biggie Smalls and the Junior Mafia, Lil Kim ruled record sales and video views with hits like No Time and stealing the spotlight in every song she guested on. But in 2005, Lil Kim tried to avoid being a snitch and instead was convicted of lying under oath during after one of her Junior Mafia bandmates opened fire on another rapper. She was released 10 months later only to find her Black Barbie act out of favor and has yet to drop another album since.
