52nd NAACP Image Awards Nominees – Viola Davis, Tyler Perry, Regina King, and More Shine

The 52nd NAACP Image Awards nominees were announced on Tuesday, and the list is star-studded.

The year 2020 was quite the year. It’s fair to say from Viola Davis to Tyler Perry, Regina King, D-Nice, and Trevor Noah, this year’s nominees for entertainer of the year are rightfully deserving of the honor.

This was also the year of documentaries with The Beat Don’t Stop (TV One) being nominated for Outstanding Writing in a Documentary – For Television or Motion Picture and Unsung (TV One) being nominated for Outstanding Documentary for Television.

Actors Anika Noni-Rose (Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey), Chloe Bailey (Grown-is), Erika Alexander (John Lewis: Good Trouble), Nicco Annan (P-Valley), and TC Carson (Living Single) virtually presented the nominees.
