The 55-year-old producer was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday (Jan. 4). TMZ reports that he is stable and lucid but doctors are still trying to find the cause of the bleeding.

The Compton native took to Instagram to share his wellbeing.

“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team,” he captioned the post. “I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

Following reports of his hospitalization, four men were seen on Dre’s Pacific Palisades property attempting to break into the house early Wednesday (Jan. 6).

According to E! News, the suspected burglars attempted to flee the scene and escaped to a van once they were caught by security. Quickly after, a police chase followed suit and they were caught and arrested on burglary charges.

LL Cool J was the first to take to Twitter to share an update tweeting “Dre is recovering nicely.” Since then, there has been a flock of celebrities taking to social media to wish the music mogul well.

Ice Cube tweeted a photo of the two posing for a picture when his former N.W.A member received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, tweeting “Send your love and prayers to the homie Dr. Dre.”

I didn’t want this to be my first tweet of 2021 but I had to stop working just to say I just prayed for Dr. Dre and his family,” Ice Cube’s son and actor O’Shea Jackson tweeted. “Me and my family are with you.”

“Prayers up for Dr. Dre and his family for healing & Strength over his mind & body,” wrote Missy Elliott.

We’re keeping Dr. Dre in our prayers.
