The Brooklyn native will be joined by Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker who is set to write the feature film currently in early development.

Deadline reported that the movie will follow civil rights attorney, Martin Grey, who fights for survival after joining an elite Black organization with a disturbing secret.

The six-episode series will also feature Will Smith as the producer and focuses on Mamie Till Mobley’s devotion to seeking justice for her son.
