Ray J and Princess Love have taught us time and time again that relationships have their ups and downs…and downs. He confessed to the hosts of The Real that he may have made a mistake after filing for divorce a week ago. However, shortly following his interview, Love told Out Loud with Claudia on Fox Soul that she doesn’t want to work it out with him “right now” due to finding out about the divorce through a friend.

“I was completely caught off guard,” shared the mother-of-two. “I learned because my friend sent me a screenshot of a post on social media. And she’s like ‘Is this true?’ And I’m like, I don’t know. Let me find out.”

As blogs caught wind of the news, she called her lawyer and they were the one to confirm the filing.

The 36-year-old claims that she was completely lost and a little thrown off.

Meanwhile, the singer and entrepreneur shared that although he was first against marriage counseling because it felt like a “hustle”, this past weekend spent with his family gave him a change of heart.

“I spent all weekend at the house with the kids and Princess and my mom and her friends. It was just a good vibe,” the 39-year-old shared. “I just had to fall back and go, ‘damn, this is a really, really, really, good thing.'”

When Adrienne Bailon asked him if he would consider counseling now, he said that he “would be up for it. I would be up for whatever it is to make sure that my kids have a strong foundation.”

As for Love? “You filed for divorce after I dismissed it because I wanted to give it a try,” she said. “I’m tired of going back and forth. I don’t want to play games.”

Tell us: Do you think they’ll make it to marriage counseling or is this the last straw?
