Fans and celebrities alike were stunned and deeply saddened by the sudden death of Chadwick Boseman this weekend, and many of us couldn’t help but be concerned about his ‘Black Panther’ co-stars and crew.

As a few days have gone by, some cast members have made social posts expressing hurt and honoring their lost college, friend, and brother. 

Danai Gurira, who played the Wakanda warrior Okoye in the 2018 film, wrote a very heartfelt message on Instagram than started with “How do you honor a King?”

Letitia Wright, who played _______, the little sister of Boseman’s character T’Challa, also broke her silence with a short tweet.

Winston Dukewho played M’bBaku, also celebrated his late colleague via Instagram.

It is no secret how close these cast members are, and we can’t imagine the pain they must feel in light of this tremendous loss. Chadwick Boseman passed away Friday (August 28) night after a four-year battle with colon cancer. He was 43-years-old. 

Condolences to all who knew and loved Chadwick Boseman.
