Congratulations to Marques Houston and his bride Miya Dickey! The pair officially became one during a private ceremony on Monday (August 24).
According to Houston, 39, he and Dickey, 19, began dating in September of 2018 once she turned 18. He then popped the question just six months later. However, many speculate this timing and have accused the “Sister, Sister” actor of dating his nineteen-year-old-wife while she was underaged. The “Sex with You” singer addressed these accusations in a social media statement, saying he and the new Mrs. Houston were just friends before they were lovers.
“And that’s the story. No twists, no turns, no scandals, just true love. There is nothing that can come to light, because there’s no darkness in my life. You wanted the truth…I don’t have anything to hide, so if you’re waiting for something else, you will be waiting for ever.”
The happy couple stunned in all white during their beautiful ceremony in Corona, California.
