First Look At Taraji P. Henson In New Film, ‘Coffee & Kareem”

Netflix has released images from its upcoming film, ‘Coffee and Kareem,’ which will star Taraji P. Henson.

The ‘Hidden Figures’ actress is part of an A-list cast that also includes Ed Helms, Betty Gilpin, King Bach, and David Alan Grier. She will be portraying the girlfriend of the leading character played by Helms.

The film, described as a “cop comedy,” will follow a Detroit cop as he sets out to clear his name of a crime.

We are glad to see the 49-year-old actress is booked and busy amidst the cancelation of Empire, the hit Fox show, where she plays the infamous Cookie.

The Netflix original is scheduled to be released on April 3rd.
