DMX was dating his longtime fiancée Desiree Lindstrom for eight years when the couple decided to call off their relationship. However on the same day, just a few hours after the split, the rapper had a change of heart and proposed to his lady, getting down on his knee and all.
This unexpected turn of events actually went down at their son Exodus’ third birthday party as family and friends cheered and laughed along. X even presented Lindstrom with a new ring after pointing out she was wearing her original one on her necklace chain.
This hasn’t been the only excitement surrounding the 48-year-old this week. You may have seen #DMXChallenge circulating around the internet due to the 20th anniversary of DMX’s hit song “What These B– Want.” In celebration, fans, particularly women, have been posting pictures of themselves with different hairstyles to the beat of the song’s second verse in which the lyrics feature a list of female names.

If you recall, the father of 15 was released from prison earlier this year after serving time for tax evasion charges and it seems since then things have been on the up and up. We wish the best for him and his family.
