The Grammys have been in the news for the last week, first with the rumored report of Jennifer Lopez paying tribute to Motown at the Grammys on Sunday (and receiving crazy backlash) and yesterday formally announcing a separate celebration of the iconic label on its 60th anniversary, which will include Smokey Robinson, Ciara, Diana Ross, Fantasia and more, special, which will air in April.
Now the Recording Academy has released another tribute performance. Yolanda Adams, Fantasia and Andra Day will pay homage to the late Aretha Franklin during music’s biggest night.
Fantasia, who will appear on TV One’s Uncensored next month, previously paid tribute to the Queen of Soul at her funeral last year (as did Adams) and during Black Girls Rock.
