Ice Cube and LL Cool J Are Teaming Up To Buy 22 Television Networks

In a move that could clearly move these two up on the Forbes list, LL Cool J and Ice Cube are reportedly lining up to purchase 22 television networks.

According to TMZ, in light of Disney’s $71 billion acquisition of 21st Century Fox, the Justice Department is forcing the House of Mouse to auction off 22 regional sports channels in order to avoid a monopoly since Disney already owns ESPN. The 22 stations involved in the deal include everything from Fox Sports San Diego to Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports Detroit, Fox Sports Southwest and more.

So what’s the price tag on something like this? The deal for all 22 stations is reportedly expected to be anywhere from $15 to $25 billion. The two won’t have to foot the bill alone, as they are teaming up with billionaire Alex and Ani jewelry founder Carolyn Rafaelian.

Yeah, that’s rich rich.
