The long-awaited trailer for the 1937 (and 1954) remake of A Star Is Born is finally here! The film stars Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga and…Dave Chapelle?
Deadline reports, the comedian plays, “an old friend of Cooper’s Jackson Maine, the country music star who is on the brink of decline when he discovers a talented unknown named Ally (Germanotta). When her career eclipses Jackson’s own, he finds it increasingly hard to handle his fading glory.”

Beyoncé was allegedly attached to the film as the leading role, a rumor Cooper denied in 2015, “Just a rumor. But with that said, I would be honored obviously with to work with her in any capacity.”
