Eddie Murphy is reportedly making his way back to the big screen!
While at SXSW in Austin this week, Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed the cast of the Twins sequel, including Danny Devito and a 56-year-old Murphy.
The 1988 comedy which saw Devito and California’s former Governor take on the role of unlikely twins separated at birth.
Murphy hasn’t spoken out about the role yet, but in 2015 he did open up about his hesitation to film movies that aren’t hysterically funny.
“I did some movies where they offer you a bunch of money and you go, ‘OK, I’ll do it!’ I’ve done enough of those — I don’t have to do them anymore. “If ‘Triplets’ comes together and it’s hysterically funny, I’ll do it. Same with ‘Beverly Hills Cop 4’ — the last couple of scripts weren’t quite there.”
…and ain’t nothing wrong with that. Last year Blackish Creator Kenya Barris confirmed the actor’s role in the sequel of Coming To America.
