The Mo’Nique vs Netflix saga has gotten interesting. By now we know the streaming site offered her a lousy $500,000 for a comedy special (Wanda Sykes revealed she was offered even less). Since then celebrities like Jada Pinkett Smith and Wendy Williams have spoken out in support of her fight for equal pay.

Now, there are reports Mo was actually offered $3M (popular influencer Jawn Murrary addressed the rumored deal, first picked up by Rolling Out), prompting the 50-year-old to provide receipts. And boy did she ever. On Instagram she provided the actual contract that shows not only did Netflix offer her $500K, but the deal also included parameters that would prevent Mo from any future performances for 24 months.

Now while this portion of the contract doesn’t mention the rumored $3M, regardless,  this was a pretty crappy deal. Netflix can’t possibly think a wife and mother of four would sit at home for two years for only $500K. There is one comedian who might take a deal like this. Yesterday Luenell started her own campaign for a Netflix special, saying she wasn’t “too proud to beg”.
