In the wake of Harvey Weinstein, 2017 has undoubtedly been the year the lid was blown off of sexual assault. And while most of the accusations were against middle-aged white men, rapper/reality star Peter Gunz and comedian DeRay Davis are boldly opening up about the assault they received — from women.

Last month Davis opened up to VLAD TV about losing his virginity as a minor to two 30-year-old women. “I’ve been as a young guy … my mother’s friends … my mother was involved in a lot of stuff. But I’ve had older women … that have taken advantage of me.”

Start at 6:00 mark.

Gunz is most known for his messy love life on Love and Hip Hop, but in an upcoming episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, the 48-year-old revealed he’d been molested by a woman at a young age.

We all know the plight some African-American men face when the decision to open up about sexual assault goes public. Kudos to both Peter and DeRay for their courage.
