“Rust And Bone” Luncheon

In today’s “Girl, You Tried It” report, Kenya Moore claims to be the new Kim Zolciak. I’m not entirely sure why anyone would volunteer that kind of claim, but anyone that’s watched the latest season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta realizes how pressed Kenya is for attention. Yes, she serves Panini realness week after week.

That said, here’s what Kenya had to say about being the new Kim in an interview with In Touch Weekly:

“It certainly feels like I may be the new star of the show,” Kenya, 41, tells In Touch. “I certainly can keep people’s attention.”

Like Kim, Kenya isn’t short on brass— or ego. “There’s a lot of jealousy toward me,” she says. But does she have the star potential to fill Kim’s shoes?

After receiving her own spin-off show, titled Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding, then leaving RHOA in Dec. 2012 and revealing she’s set to star in yet another spin-off for the network, it’s no surprise Kim is a fan favorite. But Kenya has no doubt she’ll soon take over the spotlight.

“Like Kim, I’m a strong personality,” she admits. “If I don’t like something, I speak up.” The only difference between the two feisty ladies? “I don’t chain-smoke,” notes Kenya. “And I don’t constantly have a goblet of wine in my hand.”
