Raise your hand if you knew Suge Knight was engaged?
Right.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Toi-Lin Kelly was sentenced for selling sealed evidence that was key to his murder trial.
Kelly reportedly sold surveillance video to gossip site TMZ of the 2015 fatal crash that shows Knight running over two men outside a Compton burger stand, killing one.
So how much did TMZ cough up for the video? A reported $55,000, which Kelly will now have to pay back. She is also placed on probation for five years, ordered to 100 hours of community service and must have no contact with Knight or his legal team.
It has been an interesting journey for the 52-year-old Death Row founder over the last few months. He was indicted for allegedly threatening filmmaker F. Gary Gray and just last month he told Ice-T and Soledad O’Brien that he believes Tupac Shakur may still be alive.
