Lately, Ashanti seems to be going more of the Mario Lopez right with her career – taking hosting gigs with Fuse TV and signing on for acting roles. However, she says she’s going to finally release her long-delayed album, Braveheart. Speaking with Sirius XM, Ashanti explained that she skipped out on seven record deals because she just couldn’t get with the 360 deal. A 360 deal is a new industry standard that has labels collection money from artists’ endorsement deals and touring money. Traditionally, that revenue was separate from whatever levels made from record sales.
