The Hollywood Foreign Press Association Annual Installation Luncheon – Arrivals

There’s a new contestant in the ongoing game of “Who wants to star in this A Star Is Born remake with Beyoncé?” So who is following Will Smith, Hugh Jackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tom Cruise? That dude from The Hangover. The one everyone calls handsome. Yeah, that dude.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the producing studio has turned to Bradley Cooper to star in the lead of the movie and he’s thinking about it although he’s very, very busy.

They report:

Bradley Cooper is in negotiations to star in the J. Blakeson-helmed crime thrillerBad Blood and Trouble at MRC. The in-demand actor is mulling a number of offers, including the male lead in Clint Eastwood‘s A Star Is Born remake at Warner Bros.

He next will shoot the third chapter in the Hangover franchise.

The actor — who next will be seen in David O. Russell‘s Silver Linings Playbook, the indie The Place Beyond the Pines, The Words and Hit and Run — is also in negotiations to reteam with Russell for American Bullshit, which is scheduled to begin production in early 2013.
