At this point the color purple is synonymous with Prince. So much that musical legend now has an official hue, “Love Symbol # 2.”

According to NPR, the folks over at Pantone, a company responsible for standardizing colors for consistent industry use, decided to honor the late musical genius in the most colorful way:

Meet Love Symbol #2, @pantone’s new color inspired by @prince’s custom-made purple #Yamaha piano. ??

“While the spectrum of the color purple will still be used in respect to the ‘Purple One,’ Love Symbol #2 will be the official color across the brand he left behind,” a statement reads.

It is being reported that the particular color was inspired by the hue of a Yamaha piano that Prince planned to take on tour before passing away on April 21, 2016. The name Love Symbol #2 is the copyrighted name of his iconic symbol.

Speaking of love symbols…Remember when Sheila E told us about the first time she met Prince?
