By now we’ve heard all about the rumors of a possible Nicki Minaj and Nas romance since Minaj posted a flick of them together earlier this month.
But it seems as if the Queens rappers are indeed dating. Minaj confirmed their status on Ellen this week (start at the 1:10 mark). Watch below.
Surprisingly, we’re on board with this match-up. Here’s why:
1. Let’s be honest here: We’ve never really been a big fan of her and Meek Mill. Something about the pair just seemed off.
2. In 2012 Nas played Minaj’s love interest in Right By My Side? Remember that kiss? We saw the chemistry then.
3. This one is easy. The King and Queen of Queens, New York? Can we say Hip Hop royalty personified?
4. Over the years we’ve seen the relationship between Beyoncé and Nicki develop and we all know the history between Jay Z and Nas. Best. Double. Date. Ever.
