Kanye West is known for doing THE MOST at times, but one cannot deny his creative genius in the world of music and, most recently, in the world of fashion.
Premiering his Yeezy Season 5 collection at New York Fashion Week, if you’re a “who’s who” you more than likely received one of these as your ticket to the show:
Looking at the collection titled “Lost Hill” from the good folks over at High Snobiety, we picked up a few style tips:
1. BIGGER IS BETTER.
We have to give it to Ye’ for ushering in this trend. Oversized clothing seems to be a staple in all of his collections.
2. WHEN YOU LAYER, YOU’RE A SLAYER.
Individual pieces can go from “blah” to “BAM!” when you have fun with your layering. (Sidenote: This fur is SO Chicago.)
3. WHEN IN THE UNKNOWN, MONOTONE.
Blood on the leaves! We’re loving this head-to-toe trend that works in any season.
4. DON’T BE TIRED, BE FATIGUED.
Army fatigue will always be a go-to the for the cool and the rebellious, but Ye’ made things interesting by mixing and matching military prints.
5. DON’T BE A HAVE-NOT, BE A HAVE-KNIT.
Okay, they’re not knits per se, but they’re all in the same family.
