Just when you thought you heard the last of R. Kelly (did you know he released an album in October?), he has promised a big return in 2017.
In talking with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he revealed that he has been working hard on adding new chapters to his soap operatic song “Trapped in the Closet.” Already clocking in with 33 chapters, the Grammy-winner and teen-enthusiast says he has an additional 35 already done.
Yay?
“I’m very excited about that. It will absolutely be out next year. I’ll tour if it’s a major deal, but if not I might just chill and just finish writing my movie scripts.”
Kelly, who turns 50 soon, also mentioned that he has an R&B/Hip Hop album planned for the new year.
