The Soul Train Music Awards honored many of our favorite artists and industry insiders but it was Brandy that left us talking.
Taking home an honorary Lady of Soul award, it was exciting to see “The Vocal Bible” (as called by her devout fans) celebrated in such a way. What we didn’t expect was for the velvety smooth Alto to really put it down ( ? what we did there) , going over ALL of her classic chart toppers:
Not that we could ever forget all that Brandy has achieved, but this performance was definitely a friendly reminder.
