What’s up TV One! So you’ve decided, yet again, that this time will be the time you will lose weight, keep it off, and get healthy. How many times have you said that before??? If we both only had a dollar.
Weight loss is so….elusive: no carb, low-carb, low-fat, no-fat, no eating after 8pm, no dairy, no processed foods, no slim jims, lots of no…can I get a yes?! Agh! You’re busting your brain trying to make sense of it all, and all you really want to do is get in those skinny jeans you bought knowing full well they were not one but two sizes too small.
But here’s the deal. There really is no mystery to losing weight: you have to burn more calories than you consume. Period. That’s it. End of story.
The mystery is how to make it happen. And the “how” is different for every person. The “how” takes into account: who you are, your lifestyle, what motivates you, what stresses you.
