SUMMARY:

The Coordinator, Integrated Marketing is a key member of the One Solution team. One Solution is the targeted integrated media platform and award-winning branded entertainment division of Radio One, TV One and Interactive One. In this role, the Integrated Marketing Coordinator’s primary focus will be supporting and working with the One Solution team on creative development and management of revenue-generating custom marketing solutions for existing and prospective clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist team in developing marketable custom sales opportunities through brainstorming and liaising with Programming/Production teams to create television and cross-platform programs
  • Participate in the ideation and development of new sales opportunities
  • Respond to RFP, RFI and general Sales requests: concept and formulate ideas into innovative, cross-platform marketing programs that are custom-made for specific client initiatives and their associated KPIs
  • Update core presentations, programming one-sheets and sales support materials with accurate information and data
  • Identify, source and price One Solution sales promotion premiums
  • Assist in writing and submitting industry award submissions for department projects (i.e., Telly Awards, ANA Multicultural Excellence)
  • Help gather and manage the recording/ collection of recap materials including video and still images. Assist in identifying opportunities and challenges for future partnerships
  • Collaborate and keep team informed of competitive market, industry insights into ad sales marketplace trends, landscape, and potential growth areas
  • Occasional travel to attend client activations

 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with positive energy
  • Understanding of the creative development process
  • Familiarity with the development and execution of custom promotions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about the media space
  • Creative and solutions-oriented thinker
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.

EDUCATION AND/OR Experience:

  • College degree in related field
  • On average 1-2 years experience at an agency, media company or sales/marketing organization where responsible for ad sales/sponsorship support
  • Multi-cultural marketing/communications experience a plus
