Obama Accepts Nomination On Final Day Of Democratic National Convention

Kerry Washington recently spoke at the Democratic National Convention in support of President Obama’s bid for reelection. The words from Washington, who serves on the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, were well received. However, do not expect her to ever run for office.

Not now, not ever apparently.

When asked if she’d ever give politics a go later in life, Kerry told People magazine:

"Never ever. Never, never, never, never, never, never! I’m in the administration now and I’m very honored to serve and to serve in an appointed position but running for office is something I am not interested in in any way shape or form."

Well, there’s always Will Smith who has long expressed potential political aspirations.

For those curious, check out Kerry’s speech here.
