TERRELL OWENS GETS CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS REDUCED

    February 7, 2012

To the baby mamas trying to still score big monthly child support checks off of Terrell Owens: “HA-HA.” Yes, conjure up the spirit of Nelson Muntz when you read that. Seems like the now economically challenged former NFL star was able to convince a judge to “drastically decrease the amount he was paying.”

Given he has no new football contract on the horizon and reality TV checks aren’t as big as many think (certainly not by his former $80 million contract standards), he doesn’t have the means to pay these huge checks month after month. The new payment plans reportedly are more affordable and “accurately reflect the money [Terrell] is making.”

For those wondering, yes, he was able to convince secure visitation rights in some of the cases – something he didn’t have before despite the hefty paychecks he was signing off to. It’s a shame that he’s gone years without meeting some of his children. I blame both sides for that, but it’s still so very awful.

However, things seem to be looking up for TO. As for the football players temperament, sources added to TMZ, Terrell “is in a good place and this was the best way to start off the New Year.”
