The daughter of a successful Chicago businessman and a modeling mother, LisRaye McCoy was destined for something great. Fashioning her career after her parents, she first blazed her own trail as a model and businesswoman. And then in 1998 she burst onto the Hollywood scene in a breakout role as Diamond, in Ice Cube's star-studded classic, "The Players Club."
A beautiful and charismatic actress LisaRaye, spread her wings and continued to work with notable actors such as Queen Latifah in "Beauty Shop," Terrence Howard in the indie feature "Love Chronicles", Omar Epps in "The Wood" and Mos Def in the Sundance film festival sensation "Civil Brand." After their fairy-tale marriage in 2006, LisaRaye went from booming starlet to the First Lady of a tropical island.
