Belle’s Blog Episode 4 – Whole Hog

Now I know you look at me and think I’ve got it all together; you know a perfect vision of beauty, but chile this takes work.  Trust me when I tell you that I am not opposed to keeping it right and tight…now if that means that a scalpel is involved, then a girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do.

Naturally when I started dating Dr. Raymond Fletcher, the plastic surgeon, and he asked me to coordinate the Gourmet Society dinner, I WAS ALL IN! I viewed it as one hand washes the other…like I feed your fat friends and you skin the fat off ME! Who knew that when you ordered a pig, you had to specify dead or alive?!  I didn’t go to pig ordering school!  Who knew?

I know my dad didn’t want to lose business, run the risk of being sued or seem like he didn’t have my back, but he didn’t have the heart to take ole Myrtle out the game to pig heaven. Honestly, I don’t blame him because I wouldn’t have been able to step into his shoes. In fact, I respect him even more for standing on principle, even if it did cost me my free nip and tuck.

The truth of the matter is that everyone in this world has a purpose and my daddy’s forte is definitely not hurting anyone or anything. He knew he wasn’t going to be able to slaughter Myrtle from the minute he was asked to do it. This is why we have butchers LOL.

I love you daddy!  You did the right thing!!!!! Next time, YOU order the pig!
