Alfred Liggins
CEO and Chairman of TV One

Alfred C. Liggins, III is Chairman of TV One and has been the Chief Executive Officer & President of Radio One Inc since January 1997. Radio One owns and/or operates 67 radio stations located in 22 urban markets in the United States and reaches approximately 13 Million listeners every week.

Before joining the management team of Radio One, he was active in marketing in California. In 1984, he served as a Sales Executive for Light Records, a gospel recording company in Newberry Park, California and was responsible for Western regional sales, which included telemarketing and retail promotion.

Michelle Rice

President, TV One and CLEO TV
Michelle Rice was named President of TV One and CLEO TV in October 2020. Rice shepherded the development and launch of TV One’s sister network, CLEO TV, an aspirational lifestyle and entertainment TV network serving Millennial and Gen X women of color that launched in January 2019.

Before joining TV One, Rice also had stints at iNDemand, NBC Cable Network and Black Entertainment Television (BET), where she started her career through the Walter Kaitz Fellowship program in 1993.

Jody Drewer
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jody Drewer has been the Chief Financial Officer since 2009 and is responsible for all financial administration, reporting, planning, Treasury, and tax functions for TV One. He joined the company in 2007 as Controller.

Prior to TV One, Mr. Drewer worked for Discovery Communications where he was VP, FP&A and led the strategic planning and annual budgeting/forecasting processes for Discovery Communications.

Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay

Executive Vice President of Ad Sales and Marketing

Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay is responsible for leading and directing the network’s Ad Sales team across all regions. Based in New York and reporting to TV One’s General Manager Michelle Rice, he also oversees the strategic direction of the division, including national ad sales, direct response sales, pricing, and planning.

Prior to joining TV One in 2011, Lindsay spent almost eight years in Ad Sales for MTV Networks, where he directed new business development for MTV, Comedy Central, Spike, CMT and TV Land, and served as VP of Ad Sales for MTVU and Palladia.

Rori Peters

Senior Vice President, Content Distribution & Sales Strategy

Rori Peters is the Senior Vice President of Content Distribution and Sales Strategy for TV One and CLEO TV. In her role, Peters is responsible for development and execution of content distribution strategy across all domestic and international video platforms. She has successfully negotiated broad carriage deals with the top video distributors resulting in an expanded reach of TV One, a successful launch of CLEO TV in 2019, and licensing of TV One’s popular original series and films internationally.

Prior to joining TV One in 2012, she was instrumental in the launch of Court TV (truTV), Sí TV (Fuse), Travel Channel HD, and El Rey, including business models, organizational development, marketing, program strategy, and distribution.

Kinyette Newman

Vice President, Production

Kinyette S. Newman has served as the Vice President of Production Management at TV One since 2007 and is responsible for managing all aspects of production finance, tax credit incentive programs and the green-light process for all original programming and acquisitions. She joined the company in 2005 as Director of Production Management.

Prior to TV One, Newman worked for Discovery Communications where she was a Production Manager, providing budget oversight for original programming for Discovery Channel, TCL, Animal Planet, Discovery Health Discovery Times and Travel Channel for 5 years.

Sharon Alston

Vice President, Human Resources

Sharon Alston is the Vice President of Human Resources for TV One. In this capacity she has oversight of all network human resources functions including onboarding, compensation, employee and talent relations, talent acquisitions, employee benefits, performance management, policy implementation and employment law compliance.

Alston came to TV One 10 years ago from the American Forest and Paper Association where she served as the human resources generalist guiding managers in recruiting and employee relations, administered employee compensation training and benefits programs and served as a liaison between employees and management.
