DIRECTV’S Seventh Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl – Game

Last Friday night saw a series of rumors about the health of Lil’ Wayne. After several reports from TMZ, it was believed that Wayne was possibly going to lose his life at the age of 30. Members of his camp denied such reports, only for Wayne himself to tweet that he is okay.

While it’s since been reported that he had indeed suffered another seizure late last week, he believed to be recovering.

More from SPIN:

As of Saturday afternoon (March 16), TMZ maintains that the rapper has stabilized, but remains in intensive care. Friends and associates, including Drake, have been spotted entering and leaving Cedars-Sinai hospital, where Wayne is slowly recovering.

On Friday night, a tweet from Lil Wayne’s official Twitter account read, “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.” Around the same time, Cash Money Records CEO Ronald “Slim” Williams said in a radio interview with Chicago’s WGCI, “There ain’t no truth in what you heard today. He’s chillin’. We sittin’ here watching the basketball game with each other. He good.”
