Boyz II Men Begins Extended Residency at The Mirage Las Vegas

While everyone else is fixated on Britney Spears being offered as much as $100 million dollar to stomp around on stage, do some hairography, and mime songs me and about seven other people love, Boyz II Men is about to pick up where Toni Braxton left off.

The 1990s R&B group will reportedly take up a residency at the Terry Fator Theater at The Mirage beginning March 1. Organizers of the show say the group will perform hits like “Motownphilly” in addition to some “surprises.”

The group will do 78 weekend shows through the end of 201. Tickets are already on sale starting at $40.

This makes me feel a number of ways.

One, this is great for Boyz II Men and R&B acts from the 1990s, but whew, does this ever make me feel old? I was in elementary when this group was poppin’, but still. Now, hopefully you and your folks show out in droves for their Vegas act. That way we can see some other groups from the 1990s book gigs.

You know SWV, plus Jodeci and En Vogue. Well, if the latter two groups ever get themselves together.
