Singer (and “Ringside” actress) Sevyn Streeter was supposed to sing the National Anthem at the Philadelphia 76’ers game last night.

But that didn’t happen.

Why? According to a report from ESPN, Streeter said it was all about what she was wearing — a jersey that said “We Matter.”

“I’d say two minutes before we were about to walk out … the organization told me that I could not wear my shirt while singing the national anthem at their game. I was never given any kind of dress code. I was never asked beforehand to show my wardrobe.”

The NBA team has declined to comment but you know who DID have something to say about it? Roland Martin!

Watch Roland and the panel chop it up.

TELL US: Do you think Streeter is right? Should singers be allowed to wear protest clothing during the National Anthem?
