Women like to talk about sex just as much as men but when the girls get together our conversation seems to center around one thing in particular regarding this subject matter.

SIZE!!!!

In my opinion, SIZE DOES MATTER!

Men are so quick to talk about how big they want their lady’s boobs or backside that the female gender is not opposed to breast and now butt implants. These days, these procedures are almost as common as going to the dentist. But when we say we want our men to be packing it’s a problem. They want big stuff and so do we! Why are we so quick to augment ourselves to please our men when the majority of us are dealing with an average size “johnson?”

If you think size doesn’t matter, I really think you are fooling yourself.  But let me also clarify that size is classified in different ways.  Some women prefer thickness as opposed to length – not a bad thing considering the average erect penis is said to only be between 5.88 – 6.2 inches.

Not so average is the, uh, micropenis. Don’t laugh because that’s a real thing, a medical condition that is recognized shortly after birth.  An adult micropenis is about two inches (Ouch) and occurs in approximately .6% of males.  Now don’t you feel bad talking about your ex’s member!?!  He might have had a medical condition – for real!  If micropenis is in your bed, don’t fret, there are medical treatments from hormones to surgery available.

I don’t think it’s the size that really concerns women.  As long as we’re not dealing in the “micro” department it’s really about the shape and thickness.  A study published in BMC Women’s Health surveyed women’s preferences concerning size and concluded that width rather than length is a more important factor of sexual stimulation.  Of the 50 females surveyed for the study, 45 reported that width felt better, with only 5 reporting length felt better.

Psychology Today published similar results regarding size.  1,500 readers were polled about male body image with many of the women saying they were not particularly concerned with size and over 71% thought men overemphasized the importance of penis size and shape. Generally, the women polled cared more about width than men thought, and less about length. “…the number one reason women preferred a thicker penis was that it was more satisfying during intercourse.” I concur!  Source.

Don’t get caught up in thinking because your mate is of a certain race you are guaranteed a larger size if size is your thing.  According to research, there is no correlation between size and race.

If he’s not cutting it in the length or thickness department, life’s too short to suffer. Like Beyoncé, tell him to put a ring on it (hint: not on your finger).  Don’t expect a miracle over night but these remedies are known to help, if only for one night.

Did you know the one real advantage to your man having a larger member is the possibility of increasing your chances of getting pregnant?   A larger penis “allows the male to deliver the sperm farther into the woman’s birth canal, slightly increasing the chance for the sperm to impregnate the ovum.” Source.

Although size does matter it seems like the #1 factor is thickness.  So the next time you find yourself pulling a ruler out of your clutch bag to settle a bet or your simply taking a mental note make sure you’re measuring the right thing.
