Let’s keep it ?!
We like pop-Rihanna, but nothing compares to when this Bajan beauty gives us full-fledge Bad Gal RiRi, just like she did in this MTV VMA performance:
In fact, we really love it when other artists give us a “likkle” West Indian taste in their music too. Here are our favorite Caribbean-infused collabs and music moments:
1. BEYONCE & SEAN PAUL – “BABY BOY”
When Queen Bey wanted to give us a song to “wine” to, she gave Sean-a Paul a call.
2. BEENIE MAN & MYA – “GIRLS DEM SUGAR”
Play this tune if you dare turn a lackluster party/club into a full-out bashment.
3. TORY LANEZ – LUV
It’s not a collab but it was nice to hear this Canadian crooner pay homage to the Tanto Metro and Devonte classic ” Everyone Falls In Love.”
4. NAS & DAMIEN MARLEY – ROAD TO ZION
In the mood for more conscious vibes? Nas and Damien Marley made a whole album of hip-hop/reggae magic.
5. BEENIE MAN & JANET JACKSON – FEEL IT BOY
Yes! The King of the Dancehall invited Ms. Jackson (‘cuz we’re nasty) to Jamaica and a huge hit was the result.
