Diva Stacy Francis dishes on reunion, lies and not-so-sad goodbyes.
How did you prepare for reunion? Were you nervous?
I was very, very nervous. I didn’t know what to expect. You don’t know how to prepare yourself because you don’t know what people are going to come with. You don’t know what they’re going to say.
Was there anyone you were on edge about seeing?
Well, Chanté Moore had avoided shooting scenes with us. We were kind of surprised she even came to the reunion show. We thought that she was done. We thought that she didn’t want to talk to anybody, at all, anymore. So when they said she was going to be there, I was like, “Okay, good.” When she finally did arrive, it continued to be the perpetual lies that she tells all the time.
How did you feel about Chanté calling you a liar?
She never came up with the lie that I lied about because I didn’t lie about anything. She said, “Oh you lied about everything.” Tell me one lie that I lied about. She couldn’t come up with one thing. There was nothing.
Why did Chrisette upset you so much?
Chrisette like Chanté doesn’t want to take responsibility for her behavior. Everyone wants to attack me about “being a bully”. The reality is this, watching that first episode; you see how they treat me. Imagine being in the room. They treated me so horribly that first time that I met them. Chrisette, I said goodbye to her, she didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Chrisette said the person that told her I got slapped was Michel’le. So they’re on the phone gossiping about me and then coming on the set and taking it out on me as if I did something to them.
Do you believe her reason for leaving the show?
That was a lie. She quit the show because she’s a coward. Print that. Please print it.
Do you think Brave held back too much during the season?
Some people might say that she played it right. If you look at the way she played it – and she did play it safe to safeguard her brand – and then you look at me, all I was, was honest. I got attacked for honesty.
Was Michel’le treated too harshly in terms of her being unreliable during the show?
It was very difficult to predict what was happening with her. Michel’le knows how this works. She knows how to make stimulating TV. So on that count, I don’t know what was real and what was not real with her. I think she’s a very smart woman. I think she’s smarter than we give her credit for.
Describe your reality show experience in three words.
I know that I’m a good person so the three words that I might have to use are, integrity, honesty, and bold.
